How do I schedule my session?
Once you reach out to me, I will schedule a meeting to get to know you and what you are looking for in a photographer. We will discuss the session details such as location, style, and date/time. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve the session date.
What should I wear during my session?
How soon will I be able to see my pictures after the session?
Depending on the type of photoshoot, it will take between 3 and 6 weeks to finish editing your images. After your session, I will schedule a follow-up appointment with you to see all of the finished images. This will also be an opportunity for ordering print products.
Do you have hair or makeup artists that can help me look my best on the day of my shoot?
Yes! I want you to look and feel your best. I include professional hair and makeup in my packages because I believe you should feel pampered and look your best during your session.
How can I pay you?
I accept cash, check, and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
What kind of equipment do you use?
I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark iii. I work with 4 main lenses (50mm, 28mm, 70-200mm, and a 100mm macro). Depending on the session, I like to use on-location Profoto strobes or Canon flashes for perfect lighting.
Can I print my own photos?
No. These images are a representation of my brand. As such, I need to maintain complete control over the print quality, finishes, and presentation of the images. Any reproduction outside of the studio may lower the quality of the image and damage our reputation for providing high quality photos.
How do I order albums or prints from you?
I will host a viewing session once all of the images are edited. At this time, you may see and feel some of the products we offer and make decisions about which photographs and products you want. If you think you may want an album or special product, please let me know before the session so I can plan accordingly and have preview options ready for you.
Can we bring extra people to our photoshoot?
Yes! I love extra people to help out during the session, but keep in mind - this is about you. If someone stresses you out or there are too many people present, the whole session can get rather frustrating - especially if this includes children. Choose people who make you feel confident or simply plan to share the experience with them through the final images.
Am I allowed to post my photos on social media?
Yes! I love when my clients want to share their session images online - just be sure to tag my business and include my website in the description. That being said, please remember that this is a business and the images are a representation of my brand. If you post online, please do not add filters or text to the images so that my quality of work is maintained and potential clients understand my quality of work.
